Dr. Seuss at the Opera! is the first installment of the JAM Orchestra's "Classics for Kids" series. These concerts  are designed for families with children between the ages of 3-9.

 

Created to be a child's first opera or concert experience, this program will feature composer Robert Kapilow's operatic adaptations for 2 of Dr. Seuss' most beloved titles: Gertrude McFuzz and Green Eggs and Ham.

 

Featuring soprano soloists Desirée Hassler and Colleen Bruton, the JAM Orchestra with artistic director & conductor Aaron Kaplan, and the imaginative director Jenilee Houghton, this concert will dazzle both the eyes and the ears and is a perfect blend of entertainment and education for a child's first concert experience!
