Pet Projects presents…

Tales and Tunes

with comic Sonya White and folk singer Mark Dvorak

Sat, Nov. 25  8 p.m.

Tickets: $35

Twice the fun—two shows in one!

Comic Sonya White travels the country sharing her real-life experiences—and what a life she is living! That includes touring as part of the hilarious Southern Fried Chicks as well as giving sold-out solo performances, and appearing on Star Search, Last Comic Standing 4, and Comcast’s Comedy Spotlight.

White is also a master of impersonations and sound effects. Nobody “horses” around like this comic.

White’s Dry Bar Comedy Special, Boot it Up, was released in 2022. This season, you can catch her in The Comedy Buzz on Amazon Prime.

Opening for Sonya will be beloved folk singer Mark Dvorak. The Chicago Tribune praised him as “masterful” and the Fox Vally Folk Festival called him “a living archive of song and style.” Midnight Special host Rich Warren named him Chicago’s “Official Troubadour.”

Dvorak has performed concerts across the country, as well as in Canada, Finland, and Ireland. He has recorded twenty albums of traditional and original music, including 2020’s acclaimed Let Love Go On and 2022’s Live & Alone.

Dvorak received the Woodstock Folk Festival’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.

But wait, there’s more!

Every ticketholder will receive a free delicious cranberry muffin from Rhonda’s Sweet Treats in Ohio.
